Product Description

p-Hydroxyanisole (MEHQ) is a highly effective and low-toxicity phenolic antioxidant and polymerization inhibitor, possessing antioxidant, anti-aging, and polymerization-inhibiting properties. It exhibits good chemical stability, significantly inhibits free radical polymerization, and has a much lower toxicity than traditional polymerization inhibitors. It is widely used in polymer polymerization, chemical synthesis, pharmaceuticals, daily chemicals, food, rubber and plastics industries. The mainstream export specifications are industrial grade 99%, reagent grade 99.5%, and food grade 99%, suitable for various compliance scenarios.


1. (Polymerization Industry)

Core Main Applications: As a specialized polymerization inhibitor for olefin monomers, it is used in the production, storage, and transportation of monomers such as acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, acrylates, methacrylates, styrene, and butadiene to inhibit monomer self-polymerization and scaling, preventing equipment blockage and monomer deterioration.


✅ Suitable for polymerization processes of acrylic resins, unsaturated polyesters, ABS resins, and synthetic rubber. Extremely low addition levels (a few ten-thousandths) are sufficient to achieve highly efficient polymerization inhibition without affecting subsequent polymerization reactions.
